Roof Trusses  Floor Trusses  I-Joist and Rim  LVL

To determine the number of trusses needed for a common gable roof or floor use the following formula:
(Building Length / Truss Spacing) + 1 = Total Trusses Needed

To determine the number of common and gable end roof trusses:
Number of Exposed Ends = Number of Gable Ends Total Trusses Needed - Number of Exposed Ends = Number of Commons

Gable Roof Trusses

When ordering Roof Trusses please provide the following.

Quantity needed Outside to outside Span of truss Pitch of the top chord Spacing between common trusses Left and right overhang if any Bearing size (if not 4 inches) Heel height (if specified) Cantilever (if specified) Stud Spacing for Gables Louver Width and Height (if specified) Ceiling loading

Webbed Floor Trusses

When ordering Floor Trusses please provide the following

Quantity needed Truss depth Outside to outside Span of truss Spacing between trusses Bearing size (if not 3 1/2 inches) Chase location (if specified) Chase size (if specified) Internal bearing Location (if specified)

I-Joist and Rim board

When ordering I-Joist and Rim board please provide a material list with the following

Quantity needed Spacing between I-Joist Length of Rim in total feet (please call for piece length)

Note: I-Joist are sold in 1ft increments from 2ft to 20ft,
then 2ft increments up to 48ft.

LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber)

When ordering LVL please provide the following

A material list with the following... Quantity needed Info on supported items Spacing between I-Joist Length of Rim in total feet (please call for piece length)

Note: LVL are sold in 1ft increments up to 48ft.
